Right back at cha' babe!

We woke up today and said.."oh, it's our Anniversary today" and got up and did our normal routine. Nothing big planned, same routine and some might think..."that's it, anything special?" And the answer YES, my special gift is to be able to wake up every morning to the person I'm so deeply in love with. It can be my Anniversary everyday because not a day goes that without Glen telling me how much he loves me... gives a big bear hug...and nice good morning kiss. Even those days we don't agree...we end the evening as if nothing ever happened.

Today is the day I reflect on everything Glen and I have been through so far. I've come to the conclusion that we have just begun our journey and the same ol' giddy feeling like I did when we were in our early 20's...and as exciting as it was 13 years ago. There's no gift that can match what I have today...what Glen has given me and how unselfishly he has devoted his life to me and our family. So as much as he tells me how much he loves me...I can only say to you Glen, how much more I love you. Happy Anniversary to us!
Through the years...

Thirteen Years Ago Today.....

Today is our 13 wedding anniversary! Hard to believe that 13 years have gone by...it seems like it's been so fast but at the same time....seems so long ago. When I reflect back on what Renee and I have accomplished in those 13 years, it seems amazing. We have moved 4 times, lived in 2 different cities, opened 2 businesses and had 3 kids.....crazy. But I have to say that the past 13 years have been the happiest in my life. Everyday I'm grateful for having such a beautiful wife, loving mother and best friend in the entire world. Each day we continue to grow and I am constantly amazed at how much I can love my wife. I'm looking forward to growing old with her, watching our kids turn into adults and enjoying all of life's challenges with her by my side.

Happy anniversary Babe!

A Long Weekend.....

What do you do when you have a three day weekend? Well....in our case we just stayed close to home. We had Renee's brother and his family from the Bay Area join us for a few nights which is always fun because the kids love to hang with their cousins. So far Cori has told me she misses her cousin Kelsey about a dozen times and when are we going to see them again?? We had some family over on Saturday night for a casual birthday party for Scott....Cori and Justin. Renee made a guava cake and we all chowed on fresh ahi and abalone compliments of Mr. Endo. On Sunday we sat around the house.....fished for crawdads in the lake and went to Janie's house for dinner. Monday I decided to play tennis with some old friends.....for the first time in about 3 years. Nobody got hurt.....we all worked up a sweat and had some fun. Overall, it was a great weekend, the kind you wished would never end. Now it's Tuesday but it feels like Monday and in two weeks, we are off to Southern California for a week of fun at Legoland, SD Zoo, Seaworld, Universal Studios and Disneyland....phew!
